The M 592 01 is a dedicated flush-mount enclosure for KNX universal dimmers, switch actuators, and solar protection actuators, providing a secure, serviceable housing for one UP 5..S32 series device. A separate wiring compartment keeps function cables segregated from the KNX bus cable, simplifying commissioning and troubleshooting while integrated strain relief protects terminations from mechanical pull.

The flame-retardant thermoplastic enclosure mounts on standard TH35 DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, fitting into distribution panels, structured cable ducts, under-floor boxes, and ceiling-mounted cabinets. Screw fastening ensures a firm mechanical hold. The compact 97 x 53 x 36 mm footprint saves space in crowded enclosures, while adequate internal clearance supports heat dissipation during extended dimmer operation at high loads. The IP 20 rating suits dry indoor environments such as electrical rooms and wiring closets.
